Ant Financial Services Group, through the recently acquired EyeVerify, is building and scaling a global Identity Management Platform.  We are seeking a skilled Principal Cyber Security Engineer to oversee the security strategy of our global Digital Identity Management platform. The core biometric technology is currently being used by over 50 banks & payment platforms worldwide with over 100MM users.  The Principal Cyber Security Engineer will play an integral role in securing our platform as we scale to over 1 Billion users in the next 5years.

The Principal Cyber Security Engineer will provide thought leadership to our Digital Identity Management platform. Over time the platform will create an ecosystem of partners that will build services and extensions on top of the core identity use cases. The candidate must leverage their background in Cryptography, Trustzone based TEE architecture, security processors, PKI, and wireless technology and connectivity to ensure secure current and future state operations for our Digital Identity Management platform. This position will work closely across cross-functional teams (R&D, Engineering, & Client Services) as well as OEM, hardware, and software partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • Development experience with mobile and securitytechnologies, including Enterprise PKI, Trustzone based TEE architecture, Secure OS, SSL/TLS
  • In depth experience in embedded and securitytechnology
  • Expert Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages
  • Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation
  • Experience using cryptographic algorithms
  • Ability to communicate Risk Assessments and complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Passion for all aspects of security research and development
  • Mathematics education and/or background a plus
  • Experience with biometric security a plus
  • Familiarity with application development for iOS or Android a plus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of developers in the creation of security software; integrating Android & iOS applications with Trustzone based TEE Architecture and Enterprise PKI Architecture
  • Take a leadership role in software design, implementation and testing
  • Develop a company-wide software security strategy by researching and staying current on all evolving aspects of mobile and networksecurity
  • Provide technical information and direction to Research and Engineering teams on all aspects of security
  • Identify security metrics, goals and plan
  • Create new software systems or forensic tools
  • Participate in the lifecycle development of software systems using agile methodologies
  • Gain a thorough knowledge of attack vectors that may be used to exploit software
  • Leverage attack tools to test your work for software vulnerabilities
  • Counsel your colleagues on secure programming practices
  • Research/identify flaws and facilitate remediation with Research and Engineering teams
  • Support software deployments to customers

Education and Experience

  • BS Computer Science or equivalent experiencerequired; MS or PHD degrees preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of work experience in general software engineering
