Dell, Inc. is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an Account Executive to join our team in Seattle, WA. This job represents a balanced sales effort of product and services knowledge and selling skills, will works with named or large key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and ensure satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships. The person in this role will works with otherinternal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account and is responsible for the overall sales strategies and generating results from the client.

Role Responsibilities

  • Grows the territory/account base to attain financial objectives
  • Understands customers’ business and solutions requirements
  • Territory/account management, including account planning and salesforecasting
  • Customarily and regularly engages with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties
  • Leads sales process and utilizes all available resources to manage account
  • Gains access and manages relationships with distributor managers
  • Interfaces directly with customers to ensure satisfaction with our solutions
  • Point of contact but may escalate customer issues/concerns as appropriate
  • Intermediate level account manager
  • Resolves less complex issues that have been escalated by junior team members
  • Plans and directs all sales activities and selling resources
  • Work with otherinternal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account


  • Able to negotiate with others to achieve desired results/meet customer needs
  • Full understanding of how the our business model relates to selling our products and services
  • Requires the ability to influence others to achieve results
  • Can reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships
  • Can effectively interface at many levels with senior managers
  • 4+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelors (Non -Technical)
