Perficient Digital currently has a career opportunity for a Media Director in one of our core agency offices, Atlanta, Irvine, Ann Arbor, Milwaukee, or St.Louis. Job Overview As the Media Director, you will be a part ofPerficient Digital’s Digital Marketing practice.

 

You will be responsible for maintaining direct client communication and relationships while working closelywith the broad internal Digital Marketing team. The role of the Digital Media Director requires an expertin digital media strategy and buying practices across channels and a thought leader on emerging practices.The Media Director connects across internal marketing teams and multiple clients. Being a leader is expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively involved in education of internal and external teams on agency’s digital media capabilities
  • Guides development of category expertise
  • Transfers knowledge, best practices, and media vision for strategic and buying approaches, analytics and tracking, day-to-day operational management, digital channel allocation, emerging opportunities and new partnerships
  • Educates and aids in supporting direct reports’ responsibilities and client deliverables
  • Ongoing progression of defining and improving internal working processes across marketing teams and other BUs
  • Strongly develops and maintains relationships within the media space and outside of agency
  • Develops professional growth of and mentors direct reports
  • Maintains a positive environment, collaboration, strong work ethic, and constant emphasis on meeting client success goals
  • Participates in business development and growing media clients
  • Active participation at conferences and on industry panels, speaking events, and committee

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media or related area
  • Minimum six to fifteen years of experience in a media planning function with emphasis on integrated planning and campaign management (on a local & national basis)
  • The ability to translate marketing objectives into succinct and effective media strategies
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Multiple industry knowledge a plus
  • Experience owning and managing a budget
  • Exceptional communication & presentation skills across all levels
