Senior Media Manager - Creative Communications.

Job Summary: Lead media strategy for WFBMC, a rapidly expanding national health services provider. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Creative Communications, the Senior Manager will oversee and guide Wake Health's media planning and buying processes.

Responsibilities include the following: setting vision and leading the internal team and external agencies in media planning and buying and analytics, development and execution of all media campaigns across all types of media, audience and media consumption insights, competitive analysis, oversight and management of the media budget.

Position will act as a strategic liaison with key CM&M executive partners and stakeholders.

Education / Experience: Bachelor's Degreerequired. Master's degreepreferred. 8years of experience in leading media strategy within large corporate organizations, inclusive of both traditional and new digital media . Demonstrated ability in analytical problem solving. Experience leading a team and developing people. Strong cross functional interpersonal communications skills, both written and verbal.

Essential Functions:

Set the agenda and develop goals for the team and agency

Agency management, including development of annual scope, negotiating fees and commissions, as well as day to day management of the relationship

Establishing the annual media budget and plan to meet business and corporate objectives

Day to day management of media plans

Establish new media capabilities that take full advantage of technology in advancing the performance of media investments

Develop media performance measurement capabilities that identify media's contribution toward business and brand goals

Establish an in depth understanding of the various constituencies and geographies served by WFBMC and translate insights gained into cost effective media strategies

Ensure that corporate marketing objectives are accurately translated into workable media programs

Determine necessary secondary research requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience across all analog and digital media channels including social, mobile, SEM with a solid understanding of how digital media plays a key role in the overall media strategy and programs.

Experience managing multimillion dollar budgets.

Experience developing and streamlining media processes.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Health services industry experience.

Proven track record of building, leading and developing teams.

Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of management.

Strong knowledge of digital media techniques including digital display (both direct to local/niche sites as well as through ad exchanges), behavioral targeting, mobile advertising and social media advertising, such as Nielsen Net Ratings and Double Click.

Solid knowledge of media research and planning tools.

Ability to develop, execute and optimize paid search campaigns including Google Adwords, Bing/Yahoo Ads.

Ability to utilize online tracking tools to gage effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
