Overview

Responsible for consulting with Business Unit Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure client needs and learning expectations are met through the delivery of cost effective, quality learning programs and methods. Responsible for the management, design, development, and implementation of critical learning solutions for Fulton Mortgage Company and the Consumer Bank with a focus on lending. Partners with the Center for Learning & Talent Development (CLTD) sales and leadership teams to provide strategic learning solutions for identified sales and leadership learning needs. Designs learning programs and reinforcements that align with business needs and produce measurable results. Oversees the delivery of learning programs to targeted audiences within Fulton Mortgage Company and the Consumer Bank with a primary focus on lending programs.

 

Must be able to travel up to 50% across the Fulton footprint.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties

  • Oversees the design, develop, maintenance, implementation, and evaluation of new and existing learning programs. Consults with assigned business units to assess learning needs including scope, learner's ability, and business performance alignment. Design, develop, maintain and implement Residential Mortgage and Consumer Bank Lending curriculums. Work with Business Unit, Subject Matter Experts, and CLTD compliance, sales and talent management teams to ensure all necessary content is included and programs support overarching learning strategies. Designs and develops learning programs based on thorough analysis of the learning need and in partnership with business unit Subject Matter Experts and CLTD instructional designers and ensures delivery methods align with the needs of the modern learner. Using best practice learning techniques, and in partnership with Learning Services, design, develop, and deliver learning content to employees that promotes the use of scalable, rapid learning training solutions such as webinars, virtual classroom, mobile learning, and self-paced learning methods. Oversees the implementation of a pilot session for all new learning programs and utilizes robust evaluation strategies to modify programs as needed prior to corporate rollout. Builds learning plans and curriculum roadmaps and determines project milestones, forecasts completion dates. Identifies project risks and issues, devises contingency plans to mitigate risks, informs management of accomplishments, plans, and delivers project summaries.
  • Facilitates and or coordinates the delivery of new and existing learning programs with a primary focus on Residential and Consumer Banking lending programs, including new hire onboarding programs, technical, policy, procedure and product knowledge learning programs. Facilitates learning programs using appropriate delivery method including but not limited to classroom, webinar, discussion boards and blended learning solutions. Researches, recommends, schedules vendor learning as needed by business unit, including but not limited to American Banking Association and Mortgage Banking Association learning programs. Consults with business units to determine appropriate delivery method of learning needs outside of the scope of the role, such as email messaging, staff meeting huddles, etc.
  • Evaluates new and existing learning programs using Metrics That Matter system and makes recommendations to learning programs accordingly. Measures the effectiveness of learning programs utilizing the Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation and monitors MTM program scores for overall program effectiveness, instructor score, job impact, business results and support tools. Consults with Business Units to map out project goals and develops blended learning and reinforcement methods to measure desired Behavior Changes Level. Establish Return On Investment measurement level in conjunction with Business Unit as needed for Senior Management reporting. Partners with Business Unit Managers to determine course exit strategy including manager reinforcement and coaching tools and ongoing support materials for employees.
  • Keeps up to date with corporate technology to ensure appropriate delivery method is used for all new and existing learning programs. Recommends alternative delivery methods. Maintains current knowledge of learning and talent development best practices, the modern learner needs and strategically consults with clients to optimize content and delivery for all learning programs.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education

BachelorDegree or equivalent experience. Specialty: College Degree. (Preferred)

 

Master Degree or equivalent experience. Specialty: Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education. (Preferred)

Experience

5 or more years Combination of:
Experience within mortgage and/or consumer lending industries


Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills and the ability to educate diverse audiences


Excellent training delivery with experience using a variety of delivery methods and platforms including instructor led, web based and blended learning solutions


Experience providing coaching and feedback in a learning environment or on the job


Experience consulting with clients to provide strategic solutions to learning needs


Ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment


Solid organizational skills and ability to take personal accountability for the success of initiatives


Ability to track, measure, and assess the success and ROI of learning programs and use data to improve and enhance future learning programs


Proven experience with the ADDIE model of instructional design.


Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
