The Social Worker will be responsible for coordinating social work services across the hospital system to include the emergency department, inpatient, home care, and any alternative community settings where social work services are delivered. Works in conjunction with case managers and discharge planning.
Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited graduate school of social work as defined by the Council of Social Work Educationpreferred. Licensed in the state of Kentucky at LCSW or LICSW level. A minimum of five years’ progressively responsibleexperience in the social services field preferred. Knowledge of delivery of medical social services in varied healthcare settings. Strong group leadership, negotiation, and group dynamic skills. Excellent human relations and communication skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability. Must have knowledge and experience in program development. Must be BLS Certified. Will be required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing.
