DESCRIPTION: Advisor, Global Commodity Management General Summary Contract management activities with moderate to highrisk to Dell EMC business units. Contract activity may be non-routine and require development of specializedcontracts and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives. Generally involves independent judgment and analysis of significant issue identification and resolution. May require assessment of potential deviations from established standards. Principal Duties andResponsibilities 1. Review and develop complex Third Party Software,Developer Tools, and Services requirements and agreements and prepares specialized and/or non-routinecontracts, andcontract modifications. 2. Analyzes significant, and/or uniquecontract requirements, special provisions, businessrisks, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriatelaws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure. 3. Providescontractual guidance to business units for requirements documentation. 4. Establishcontract management objectives for pre and post execution. 5. Develops negotiation strategy and leads negotiation team on complexcontractual issues. 6. Works inpartnership with Corporate Legal to mitigate legalrisks in support of business unit goals and objectives. 7. Functions as domain expert on selected areas and issues.8. Focal point for all communication with legal,finance and business teams for resolution ofcontract issues. 9. Understand the business case, overall total cost of ownership, and possible licensing/distribution issues for Third Party Software,Developer Tools, and Services requirements.


EssentialExperience 2-4years relatedexperience or specificTechnology, Procurementexperience.Bachelors (non-technical)required, MBAdesired Provenexperience in developing software licensing strategies, as well as developing, negotiating and closing complexcontractsExperience summarizing businesscontractual terms for clients, such as license rights, product entitlements, and use restrictions. Ability to establish effectivepartnershipsinternally and externally, at all organizational levels and across boundaries Contract administrationexperienceExcellent analytical skills, well-organized and detail-oriented.
