We are currently seeking a Project Control Specialist to work on-site in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area/ Oklahoma City, OK / or Atlantic City, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects to accurately account for and track assets across their lifecycle from acquisition through disposal.  
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring:  order receipt tracking; lifecycle tracking; removal and exchange tracking; maintenance of data in inventory control system; asset management as it pertains to helpdesk incidents. 
  • Project accounting responsibilities including project setup, reviewing and uploading budgets, revenue recognition, receivables and open commitments, monthly closing information, and EAC change management
  • Interact with program managers regarding their program budgets; review schedule output for completeness and discrepancies versus an established budget as well as earned value reporting requirements
  • Provide proposal costing support to include customizing MS Excel costing templates, preparing pricing summary sheet including work-breakdown structure (WBS) mapping, providing historical cost data, and general finance support to the proposal manager
  • Generate complex Excel models, charts and analysis; serve as the project control liaison between Corporate Finance and other company business units/departments; perform ad hoc reporting and analysis; serve as a member of the Program Control Team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 5+ years’ experience in project control at an enterprise level environment.
  • Experience with monitoring and control of asset management
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with Automated Inventory Tracking System (AITS)

Preferred

  • Knowledge and experience with government clients/environments

 

Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required.
