Facilities Project Manager
Key Role:
Coordinate and oversee completion of activities in all phases of the facilities construction project cycle. Manage the project design or construction effort, manage and evaluate contractor performance, integrate and coordinate the project with field personnel, evaluate, determine disposition, and manage project change requests, and provide official weekly project status reports. Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders. Assist the contracting officer and COTR with acquisition planning, execution, and administration, and collect requirements, prepare SOWs, conduct market research, and develop other documentation, as appropriate. Conduct technical reviews and evaluate project solicitations, proposals, quotes, and proposed change requests, review and approve shop drawings and submittals, and assist with the preparation of a Contractor Performance Report (CPR) upon contract closeout.
Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with working in facilities project management
-Experience with commercial or government facilities construction projects
-Experience with project management
-Ability to handle multiple, demanding, and complex projects in a timely manner with accurate results
-Ability to work nights and weekends for operational necessities, as required
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of sound program management techniques
-Ability to work independently and as a team player
-Ability to continue to develop professional licenses, certifications, and expertise through formal and on-the-job training
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating well at all organizational levels
-BS degree preferred
-Architect License or Engineer in Training (EIT), NCIDQ, or Professional Project Management Certifications preferred
