Primaryresponsibilitiesfor the position include design, build, testing, validation and ongoing production support of the Lab application.
The team member must possess in-depth knowledge of lab software functionality and must be able to quickly gain knowledge of business and operational workflows.
The application specialist interacts on a daily basis with the customer lab team.
Take a supporting role within Lab applications. Monitor and complete customer cases for such items as break/fix, requests for change, and service requests in a timely manner as dictated by customer support policies. Ensure application issues are appropriately communicated to the proper personnel.
Act as liaison between the customer and the application vendors. Understand customer business processes. Remain apprised of current and future releases of applications and theassociatedtechnologies. Provideon call services and work off-shifts as needed. Performother duties as requested. Paragon Lab and/or Cerner Millenium Lab
knowledge/experiencedpreferred.On call rotationrequired, Strong customer relationship skillsrequired.Experience in supporting applications in ahealthcare environmentrequired, hospitalexperiencepreferred.
