The systems analyst is an intermediate professional level role. Develops systems solutions requiring analysis and research. Works on small to large, complex projects that
require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possesses know ledge in a specific business area. Works on one or more projects as
a project team member or sometimes as a project lead.
Responsible for the design and development of IT Systems on a daily basis
Develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to the projects assigned and assists in post implementation
support through customer service and system enhancements on a daily basis
Responsible for gathering, compiling, and synthesizing information (financial, healthcare, etc.) with regard to technology processes or
systems on a daily basis
Possesses experience in minicomputer or client/server environments including the implementation and support of resource planning,
sales automation, marketing, financial,and distribution systems on a daily basis
Develops system solutions requiring analysis and research on small to large scale projects on a daily basis
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Systems Analyst 1 requires one to three years of systems analysis/programming experience.
