As an Accounting Manager, you will have a key role on the Corporate Accounting team with an emphasis on supporting the critical month-endfinancial closing process. You will supervise a small team and ensure timely completion of their monthly tasks, provide coaching and guidance, and promote staff training and development. You will help identify and implement process improvements, along with supporting and sometimes leading cross functional teams to achieve various project-based initiatives including but not limited to software implementations and enhancements.  You will help ensure thatinternal controls in your area are sufficient and functioning properly; provide information tointernal and externalauditors; and assist globalfinance professionals with accounting guidance as needed.You will beresponsible to coordinate, execute and help lead part of the global month-end closing process as both an individual contributor and as a reviewer and supervisor.  You will calculate and prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and will review entries and reconciliations prepared byothers. You will support the preparation of monthlyfinancial statements and segmentreports along with the quarterlycash flow statement.  You will also participate inother generalledger functions including setup of cost centers, G/L accounts, opening/closing accounting periods andotheractivities. 

Job Qualifications

What do you need to succeed?   To be successful you’ll have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or the equivalent through a combination of a Bachelor’s in Business plus hands-on accounting experience; technical U.S. GAAP accounting expertise is required and a CPA is preferred; and at least 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting.  Experience with our ERP system, SAP, and with financial close management tools, BlackLine preferred,  will help you to hit the ground running.  You need to be able to work independently as well as be comfortable and experienced leading a small team within the broader corporate accounting team, including supporting their professional development.  You perform well in fast-paced jobs while juggling priorities and deadlines.  You are a self-directed, focused individual with a passion for process improvement.  You are a quick learner with energy and initiative who is accountable to commitments, while anticipating problems and troubleshooting effectively with a sense of urgency.  You communicate well both written and verbally and feel comfortable working with all levels of management.
