General Summary:
Responsible for offices with more complexity than that of an Office Manager due to size, specialties, and/or #locations of offices. Supervise and accountable for hiring, evaluation and discipline of staff. Remain proficient in all non-clinical staff positions to assist/fill-in, as necessary. Implement the standardization of regional policies and procedures. Maintain compliance logs, MSRD sheets, incident reports, patient complaints, etc.Maintain bulletin board of required legal notices and bulletins.Maintain and report provider and staff time off and work and patient visit statistics. Manage Provider Schedule daily to accommodate all patients. Manage "no-show" rate. Meet and/or exceed patient satisfaction goals.Identify and implement processes to improve operations and efficiencies.

Assist with budget process. Accountable for meeting budget and understanding financialreports. Conduct monthly review of financials and RVU report with Director and providers. Include providers in decision making, providing simple explanations and opportunities. Accountability of budget to include: Review of P & L transaction detail report. Manage variances to budget; hours worked/WRVU to budgeted target; employee salaries as a percent of net revenue to budgeted target; total provider costs as a percent of net revenue; variable/fixed cost per WRVU to budgeted target; ranking by specialty of WRVU to 50% or greater; and manage AR log the first day of following month – amount posted daily. Manage processes according to cash control policies. Deposit all cash collected at least every three (3) days, or daily, if greater than $100 cash. If discrepancy, must report from completed within 24 hours. Ensure missing encounters are maintained at target percentage or less. Meet regularly with Regional Director, implementing strategies and initiatives; trialing best practices, assisting with evaluating effectiveness, and reporting results as directed.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field and 5 years physician office management experiencepreferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

BLS is required for any RN, LPN, PCT, Patient Transporter or other direct patient care provider. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, PACU, Medical Emergency Team and Anesthesia require ACLS. Pediatrics, SICU, Emergency Department and Medical Emergency Team also require PALS
