Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks for Space Flight systems.
Designs electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for aerospace and domestic purposes.
Performs, or directs the performance of complex engineering assignments involved in the research, design, and development of an overall project comprised of a number of equipment systems.
Establishes project requirements based upon study and analysis of operational objectives and relationship with associated projects/programs.
Originates engineering plans, ideas, schemes and techniques, as may be required to direct the efforts of assigned personnel to achieve desired results and objectives.
Maintains liaison with other engineering and scientific organizations to keep abreast of developments in allied fields or programs, and coordinates group activities with those of other engineering groups.
Evaluates engineering progress, developments and findings, to assure technical adequacy to meet operational demands and conformance with established standards and practices.
Plans, programs and directs the activities of lower level engineering personnel to assure maximum coordination of effort within the group.
Interacts with senior management and senior customer representatives; may lead a cross-functional team.

BS degree in engineering or applied science with at least 8 years of related experience
Must be able to secure a Secret clearance classification
Must be a United States Citizen
