This role is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment while establishing your own territory and developing net new customer relationships for Dell EMC. The business development segment is the fastest growing segment within Dell EMC. The primaryresponsibilities of the successful applicant will involve understanding customerinformation technology (IT)infrastructure, their long term goals and proposing computing solutions that exceed their expectations. The Acquisition and Business Development Teamsales representative is an individual contributor who isresponsible for recommending the total Dell solution (products and services) to development and acquisition customers. They will achieve these goals by establishing relationships with their partners, executing to revenue quotas, and attaining all establishedSales activity metrics that satisfy all segment/corporate initiatives while driving a positive overall customerexperience.
- Drive Acquisition of New business targets and reacquisition of customer business within the Dell environment - Attain 100% or more of setsales quota each quarter and execute against corporate/ segment initiatives. This includes initiatives intended to solidify relationships withinternal teams - Providesales, technical, and administrative information to existing partner base - Receive bids/request for quotes, price opportunities effectively, andrespond in a timely manner - Understanding & execution of purchase order, credit/collections, and customer care forms - Build relationships with assigned contacts within your account set - Know all aspects of assigned customers, thechannelsales market place, knowledge of thetechnology industry, and competitive posture of the companies you serve - Strive to be seen as part of the customers totaltechnology solution and trusted advisor - Be able toapply the Direct -Model as itapplies to Partners and position the wide array of products/services to offer - Comply with all rules around account engagement for reseller teams. This includes proactive contact with direct teams, identifying end users, ensuring export compliance satisfied, etc - Attend all quarterly training sessions and team meetings - Support a weekly forecast process and be able to accurately predict weekly top opportunities/identify potential upside -
Engage in periodic up-selling and cross-selling within development customers to increase overallsales, profitability and value to the client
- Outbound selling and demand generation are critical success factors for this position - Occasional face-to-face customer engagement
QUALIFICATION: Requirements - 5-7years of relevantexperience or an equivalent combination ofeducation andexperience - Ability to work in a fast paced, high energy environment - Proven written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to work effectively within a team setting - Proven prospecting/cold-callingexperience (B-2-B Cold Calling, Collections, Call CentreExperience Welcome) - Commission-basedsalesexperience
