Join a great manufacturing organization as a supervisor assisting shift supervisors in responsibilities of other areas for optimum production and quality.
Minimize cost, energy, and waste in accordance with corporate and division policies, along with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Plan and control production/waste activities in accordance with budget standards, production schedule, and explain variances. Handle line responsibilities.
Utilize (interview, train, motivate, direct, etc.) personnel to their maximum potential with regard to their personal wellbeing (job satisfaction, safety, morale, etc.)
Monitor and maintain written records of daily production activities. Maintain activities in accordance with corporate and division policies along with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Interface with production staff and other departments on problems, progress, and work related matters. Monitor operations to maintain top quality and productivity goals.
Review and maintain employee attendance records. Implement and maintain policy and procedure changes. Update, develop, and recommend operating procedures. Review personnel problems; recommend a corrective action plan to department management and human relations. Handle responsibility for plant operations in absence of shift supervisor.
Provide information and service to management on operational matters. Lead and provide training of emergency brigade members. Gain experience in all plant operations.
Must have a College Degree, BBA or equivalent. A minimum 2 years’ experience in supervision in a manufacturing plant is preferred.
A technical background or its equivalence is desired in this position. Must have effective human relations skills to work withothers to accomplish tasks. Ability to recognize and to deal with operational issues as they occur is also a must for this position.
Capable of understanding and implementing procedures necessary to produce quality products that meet customer requirements. Computer skills in MS Office.
