Job Skills / Requirements

The IT Programmer/Analyst, reporting directly to the Information Technology Manager, will assist with development and analysis projects. This individual will also be responsible for managing OLAP data loads, developing and maintaining system reports, assisting with the application development, implementation and integration, as well as troubleshooting ERP and database application issues.

Role Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or may substitute equivalent experience for educational requirement
1+ year(s) of experience with SQL Server or Oracle and various other programming methodologies in a manufacturing environment

Position Responsibilities:
Reporting and Analytics
Perform routine programmer and analyst activities including managing the loading and maintenance of key company databases, SQL query development and Crystal report development
Support analysis and reporting through web based access tools for OLAP Data Sources
Work with Applications team to resolve SSAS project related issues
Provide user support
Provide ERP support including user, data, and configuration issues
Systems and Process Support – aids business and production teams in learning business application systems
Application development, adoption, and integration
Assist in implementing new business software and integration solutions
Manage special projects including the development of internal databases and web-based programs
Troubleshoot failures within the integration mechanisms
Research new technology and products that support the organization’s business goals and objectives

Essential Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of MS SQL Server: SQL query development, Reporting Services, Analysis Services and Integration Services
Knowledge of Intermediate C# and .NET or similar programming skills
Knowledge of Web technology and tools
Experience with report writing including Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services
Systems Analysis – determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
Analytical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Willingness to stay current on technology and apply new knowledge to your job
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team environment

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field[less]
