Responsibilities: The Department of Endocrinology is seeking a second endocrinologist to partner with a board-certified endocrinologist and nurse practitioner in a busy, growing, primarily out-patient based, general clinical 100% Endocrinology practice. Inpatient consultations are also included in the practice. Support staff includes a team of Diabetes Educators. The addition of an endocrinologist will enable expansion of outreach services to regional sites. Call, which is very light, primarily phone calls will be equally shared. A Hospitalist Service is available for adult patient admissions to our 250 bed medical center.
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Endocrinology. Experience in ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration of the thyroid is highly desirable.
