The Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction, overseeing the execution and communicating the advertising strategy and plans in collaboration with the regional teams and advertising agencies. Key position requirements include strategic advertising, communication, presentation and analytical skills as well as knowledge of media and production. We are looking for someone centrally located in the Midwest.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 4+ years of marketing or agency experience preferably in the QSR industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  • Must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills to include formal presentation experience and the ability to prepare and present marketing presentations.

  • Must have managerial skills.

  • Must have the ability to interface and maintain excellent professional relationships with a variety of audiences to include franchise partners, ad agencies, local marketing vendors and internal marketing functions.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) as well as Outlook.

  • Proficient in the manipulation and analysis of marketing and sales data to determine sales generation tactics.

  • Excellent organization skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Develop the advertising strategies for DMA initiatives as defined by the business needs.

  2. Execute local media advertising plans in collaboration with the agencies and the regional teams.

  3. Facilitate the planning and buying processes and timelines in coordination with the agency.

  4. Oversight of media plans and buys, broadcast trafficking and POP needs.

  5. Direction and execution of local advertising creative, in coordination with the regional teams and agencies, from concept to completion.

  6. Facilitate the development of criteria for reporting local advertising program performance in coordination with the regional team and analytics.
