Enterprise Solutions Group Director
Responsible for working in conjunction with the Vice President, to develop and lead CorporateSales strategies and tactics to maximizesales growth of full line productportfoliofor assigned region.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Establish and grow relevant relationships with key representatives from the sales force and national buying groups.
Set high standard of excellence through distributor sales operations, providing sales management techniques to optimize sales potential.
Exercise vision to identify emerging markets and sales opportunities and effect action that will exploit the markets and actualize sales potential in the managed care arena.
Coordinates the development and application of appropriate measures for monitoring performance against contract sales and profit objectives and controlling contract actions to accommodate contingencies revealed by controls.
Develops and fosters contact and rapport within the distributor network and the medical community. Coordinates outside contacts with internal Zimmer Biomet personnel.
Conducts informal market research activities to analyze and identify market needs and issues. Develops and maintains product line technical expertise.
Assists in the establishment of education requirements for various customer groups and provides the support and education materials necessary to fulfill objectives.
Interact and engage with CEO’s, CFO’s, and other executives in contract negotiations and discussions.
Expected Areas of Competence
Demonstrated excellence with oral and written communication skills and at making business presentations.
Demonstrated ability to use good analytical skills.
Influence the direction of opinion leaders.
Knowledge of medical device business and medical device market.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of the dynamics within the distributorships.
B.S. degree in business, marketing, or equivalent and 10+ years experience in sales, marketing, management, sales management, and national accounts where specific actions resulted in substantive performance enhancement for the organization. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience in sales/marketing of healthcare required.
