GPS Source is a leader in GPS/RFtechnology, serving Defense, Aerospace, and Wireless Telecom customers globally. We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated, self-directed marketing manager with a positive, “can do” friendly attitude and a desire to be part of a strong, highly motivated team.


To ensure the success of the corporate mission statement through clear and effective marketing of GPS Source’s brand, website, solutions, and products. Responsible for managing all aspects of corporate communications and product marketing. Providing website management and monitoring and administering convention/industry day activities.


  • Represent GPS Source with honesty and integrity
  • Manage shared vision of marketing direction
  • Coordinate the design of promotional material and distributing in online and offline channels domestic and abroad
  • Conduct business in a manner to grow and preserve corporate brand
  • Report on potential issues with marketing programs
  • Be the lead contributor in the development of company advertising, marketing message and collaterals for internal customers; track budget monthly
  • Full ownership of Price catalogs; updated quarterly
  • Own marketing projects from start to finish
  • Differentiate marketing strategies for traditional business and defense business
  • Issue agreed to press releases on all new products and company progress
  • Assist sales on developing compelling value propositions
  • Make recommendations on internal processes affecting customer satisfaction
  • Manage tradeshows, identify opportunities with new and ongoing tradeshows
  • Coordinate management speaking engagements at appropriate events
  • Conceptualize and develop artwork, messaging & relevant demo displays


  • Full ownership of website support and tracking
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Management of Google Adwords (Google Adwords certification preferred)
  • Maintain web search results in the top 10%
  • Analytical orientation: proven expertise in the development and tracking of measurement plans and demonstration of quantifiable results
  • Join social media groups and professional platforms to discuss industry-related topics
  • Post appropriate material to social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Web Design, web editing (HTML, JAVA, JSON), e-Commerceexperience essential


  • Manage development of materials, which may include brainstorming concepts, drafting creative material, writing copy, editing and managing the production of collateral
  • Develop publications, direct mailers, brochures and outreach communications materials
  • Work directly with senior level engineers, product managers, project managers
  • Create, deliver, and manage strategic, actionable, on-brand content that has a consistent look and feel across multiple channels
  • Develop and put in place robust measurement plans that support effective evaluation of campaign success and learning via test and control techniques and take advantage of digital tools for tracking performance
  • Monitor and report to organizational leadership on the effectiveness of marketing plans
  • Develop marketingbudget within confines set out by management
  • Timely submission of defined weekly reports
  • Working knowledge of all GPS Source products within a year
  • Develop full understanding of customer applications


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business, journalism or technical discipline.
  • Two years of experience with Salesforce.
  • Five to seven years of experience with marketing - technical/manufacturing market is highly desired
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Fluent in current digitalmarketing techniques
  • Must be a technically savvy problem solver
  • Ability to multi-task, take direction and execute with minimal direction
  • Strong writing skills
  • Must be able to travel to tradeshows and partner conferences
  • Must understand HTML and have the capability to edit within an HTML environment

SOFTWARE SKILLSET: Qualified candidates will be capable of learning how to manage a suite of cloud-based software tools. Some of the platforms and software currently in use include:

  • Design Software (preferably Adobe Cloud Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • Publication Software (preferably Adobe Framemaker)
  • CRM Product (preferably Salesforce)
  • VOIP program (preferably Nextiva)
  • Shopify (E-Commerce Website platform)
  • Wordpress (Concrete 5 Platform)


  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office products, Word and PowerPoint. Would prefer advanced skills in Excel (macros, graphs, pivot tables)
  • 1+ yearSalesforce Administrative experience
  • Excellent telephone skills, good attitude, and strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability and preference to contribute and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.

  • Coachable and driven to succeed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OR LIMITATIONS: Must be able to climb stairs and lift minimum of 35 pounds; work on a computer/monitor and conduct business by telephone
