Job Location: Hillsboro, OR

Job Type: Contract – 12 Months / Contract to Hire / Direct Hire

Job Description:

  • The Data Analyst will support Intel's Digital Marketing & Media organization as part of a business operations team. Responsibilities include: 
  • Manage the organization's budget tracking excel file, generate reports on travel expenses, and connect with Finance partners and team managers to ensure accurate budget tracking and forecasting
  • Process all reuests for PO creation by members of the organization using Intel's Shopping Cart PO creation tool, including ensuring compliance to all Finance and business policies and processes; serve as the point of contact between vendors and Intel's purchasing team to address any payment-related queries 
  • Collect and analyze key performance indicator data for team and ensure accurate and consistent reporting among data sources; deliver relevant insights into data trends on a monthly basis to team 
  • Identify, design, and implement business processes to increase team efficiency. 
  • Perform other operational support tasks as needed by the team leveraging deep expertise in data analysis and Excel 

Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2years professional experience with data analysis and financial systems, preferably supporting marketing organizations 
  • Strong passion for solving complex business issues through the use of data and insights 
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex data analysis, macros, scripting, and pivot tables 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Talented in working with varying disciplines of stakeholders 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Driven, motivated, proactive attitude 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Computer Information Systems or similar preferred
