Sr. Principal Military Analyst
Master's degree in physical science, electronic engineering, cyber, mathematics, or other science and technology related subjects, is preferred. At the discretion of the Government, specialized experience may be substituted in lieu of specific educational requirements and a minimum of twenty (20) years of technical experience with at least ten (10) years of experience at the Headquarters level in DOD or other governmental agency.
Proficient in technical research and possessing an in-depth knowledge of electronic warfare and countermeasures, including relevant related technology disciplines such as radiofrequency and optical sensors and communications, cyber, directed energy, autonomy, modeling and simulation and decision support analytics/visualization.
Intimate knowledge of interagency intelligence processes and products is desirable.
Excellent communication skills, unstructured verbal interactions, briefings, and meeting moderation; and, ability to work independently with both junior and senior staff in a distributed environment while maintaining a strong commitment to deliverable scheduled.
TOP SECRET security clearance, and the ability to obtain and maintain SCI, and the ability to obtain access to DoD Special Access Programs (SAP)/ Special Access Required (SAR). Contractors with a DCID 6/4 eligibility within the last five (5) years are highly preferred.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required
Provide technical, analytical, financial, administrative, and specialized support to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OASD(R&E)) and the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research (ODASD(R)).
The Contractor shall provide programmatic assistance in managing EW&C Office programs and performs technical assessments of technologies of interest to EW&C focusing primarily on the fulfillment of EW&C intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) requirements.
The Contractor must have a proven track record of successfully resolving ambiguous and challenging tasks typically found in senior-level Federal Government scientific research and engineering offices.
Tasks shall include but are not limited to:
Conducting technology intelligence research on topics for countries of interest.
Providing analysis on technology and community trends for identification of scientific communities and researchers of interest, forecasting of topics and trends.
Conducting research and assessing intelligence information on behavior and actions of state and non-state actors, with the goal of mapping, understanding, predicting and modifying future behaviors, as well as developing campaign strategies.
Providing analysis for EW&C intelligence awareness products, new EW technologies and other advanced technology announcements.
Providing analysis on ISR technology trends for identification of scientific communities and researchers of interest and forecasting of topics and trends.
Provide mapping of emerging EW innovative technologies to DoD validated requirements
Overseeing and managing scientific, technical and intelligence-related exchanges with
international defense partners to include the Australian Ministry of Defense for EW&C.
