Amoroso Construction is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to support the administrative needs of the CEO and our Estimating department.  Under the direction of the CEO and the Chief Estimator, the exempt role of Executive Assistant will be responsible for the duties summarized below.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage executive calendar, including coordination of meetings, travel, calls and appointments
  • Assist with a range of projects, including editing and proofreading all documents and correspondence
  • Sort and screen incoming mail and email and maintain filing system
  • Assist Estimating department with administrative needs for job bids
  • Maintain up-to-date subcontractor information in database
  • Manage outreach lists, solicitations, and follow-up calls
  • Maintain a current bid list, track projects, and run reports
  • Plan and organize Company events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • 5+ years administrative experience; construction industry experiencepreferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of construction industry a plus; willingness to learnrequired
