The Assistant Manager provides leadership, day-to-day oversight and direction to 8-10 employees within the Data Quality Team. The candidate works closely with the team manager toward meeting department and company performance standards and goals.

The position duties include a wide range of activities including monitoring Team performance, providing guidance on difficult client issues, assigning workload and making sure high levels of customer service are provided at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities:                                                                                                                

  • Direct supervisory responsibility for Data Quality Analysts including time approval and reviews
  • Monitor and report overtime expenses and manage expense to budget
  • Mentor the team
    • Provide guidance to handle difficult client situations
    • Lead recurring one-on-one meetings with each team member
    • Identify individual training issues and provide instruction
  • Assist in providing training to new hires
  • Assist manager in keeping the team on track to meet goals
  • Serve as initial point of escalation for data quality issues
    • Escalate to manager if needed
  • Maintain own ticket workload
    • Researches and identifies data quality issues reported through the Client or found through Implementation of new file and work with client to create a resolution.
    • Provides consulting and support to clients as they work toward data solutions for existing services
    • Analyzes data in test and production environments.
    • Review historical integrity of data in production database for client
    • Manages the technical implementation of new data feeds for The WorkNumber and UCM services with existing Workforce Solutions clients, testing data with client for accuracy and data quality concerns
    • Initiates and tests resolutions, ultimately resolving issues in production environment.
    • Researches, coordinates, and executes the transfer of new data feeds or data corrections with clients to ensure that continuity and level of service are maintained 
  • Develop and proofread internal/external documentation
  • Assist in development of new processes and procedures
    • Monitor results to ensure desired outcome is achieved
  • Review current processes regularly to increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal EWS clients (CRMs, WSST, etc.)
  • Work with larger/more complex/at risk clients
  • Lead/assist with special projects as needed
  • Assist in resolving data/application/access issues
  • Perform application testing during upgrades/promotions

Requirements:                                                                                                                      

  • Bachelors degree and 6+ years of successful business experience
  • year of experience working on an implementation team, 3 years workingwith EWS
  • Thorough understanding of the applications and processes the team utilizes
  • High performance track record
  • Must work in the office
  • 2-5 years of prior supervisory experience desired
  • Experience coaching and leading teams with five or more members desired
