  • Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/program on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of each functional discipline required to complete a project.
  • Manage the assigned projects for global operations and implementation of process improvement initiatives across various functions.
  • Effectively drive a cross functional team through resource planning and teamwork towards successful project completion.
  • Develop detailed schedules using Microsoft project to track projects to completion.
  • Deliver project performance based on operations regular operating mechanisms driving towards improved KPI performance.
  • Effectively communicate timely status updates on projects to senior leadership including project roadblocks in order for the company to react accordingly.
  • Use standard lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping and DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control), and Kaizan.
  • Use data to drive decisions.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
  • Leansix sigma training is preferred.
  • 5+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment working with and around manufacturing and test processes.
  • Knowledge of MES systems is a plus.
  • Experience working on technical projects such as
  • Advanced Microsoft Office user – specifically, Microsoft Project and Excel
  • Fast-paced office environment; requires use of computer: >50%
  • Domestic and international travelrequired: less than 10%
  • Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with global time zone needs such as attending late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet global business needs: 15%
  • Past success with delivering results through others, both direct and matrixed. Proven ability to lead, develop, motivate and hold others accountable.
