Current Need
McKesson Patient Care Solutions is currently hiring an Account Manager to support the South Texas Territory. Candidates can live near San Antonio, McAllen or Corpus Christi and be willing to travel within assigned territory. 1-2 overnights a week may be required. This is a work from home position.

  • Orthopedic

Responsible for the sale of certain products or services. Duties involve direct one-to-one communication with customer or client. Performs field promotion work and develops new accounts. Demonstrates products and/ or services and provides assistance in the best application of product or services. Answers all questions concerning products or services and refers questions along as necessary. May coordinate company product support (including technicalengineering support) and services to ascertain customer's needs. May close transactions and take orders. May estimate time andsales expenses expected and submit to management.Investigates product/service warrantyclaims to ensure resolution within marketing policies. May analyze records of present and pastsales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, andobligations incurred. Interprets accounts, trends, and records to management. Sells to new and present clients. Contacts prospects and explains features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasivesales techniques. 

Qualifications

 

Minimum Requirements
5+ years sales experience

Critical Skills

  • Outside B2B field salesexperience within the healthcare or medical industry with a focus on business development
  • Excellent salesmanship abilities with highly persuasive skills to influence purchases 
  • Demonstrated ability to work remote/ from home office while managing a territory
  • Superior organizational and client management skills
  • Valid and clear driving record



Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience selling to Home Health Agencies, Payer Organizations, Office/Practice Managers, Executives, Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Long Term Care Centers, Hospitals, Wound Care Centers, Urology or Ostomy highly preferred.



Education
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
