The Role

Business Information Analysts and Onboarding Manager is a Sr. Manager role, and is responsible for team and individual development, process development and refinement, and ensuring that the businesses needs are met relating to carrier onboarding, data integration, and business information analysis. They must be able to rapidly learn about new domains and help direct teams and individuals onhow to translate this knowledge into formalized documentation and models that encompass both the information involved as well as the business and technical processes surrounding it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with team leads and managers on process improvement, and implementation.

  • Develop and disperse training programs for BIAs and Onboarding Specialists around technical skills and project management.

  • Work with team leads and managers to plan, organize, and implement personal development timelines for multiple teams.

  • Encourage the appropriate and accurate use of information across the company, and identify new ways in which information can be used to solve business problems or improve processes.

  • Promote strategic enterprise goals related to data quality, integrity, consistency, and accuracy.

  • Coordinate internal resources assignments with leadership team and define priorities based on resources availability and Stakeholders’ expectations.

  • Conduct presentations, and effectively communicate product functionality.

  • As teams identify and resolve functional issues, this role will help consult, and provide optimal solutions for Stakeholders’ needs, in escalated scenarios that require leadership direction.

  • Establish a communication schedule to update team leads and supervisors, as well as external teams, on any project updates or team direction.
  • Responsible for oversight on the day-to-day operational aspects of projects for the purpose of accomplishing team / department goals and objectives in the best possible way.


The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related discipline, preferred.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a related position.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including basic technical or logical writing experience.

  • Knowledge of EDI systems not required, but preferred.

  • Familiarity with ETL systems as well as data integration standards and best practices.

  • 1-3 years of experience in project management in the technical field not required, but preferred.

  • 1-3 year of experience in technical writing, specifically around gathering technical requirements for ETL and data system changes not required, but preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including simple formulas, sorting, and filtering.

  • Knowledge of Medicare and the health insurance industry not required, but preferred.

  • Understanding and knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) not required, but preferred.

  • Self-Starting - takes independent action and goes beyond what the job or situation requires.

  • Ability to be in a multi-faceted role throughout a project lifecycle; be flexible and be able to switch “hats” seamlessly.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
