Acquires, operates, and maintains an inventory of models and analytic tools that may be applied to the studies assigned to the division.
Establishes measures of effectiveness and develops analytic study plans and decision methodologies for completing effective warfighting assessments.
Prepares and coordinates on position papers, talking papers, information papers and briefings.
Overseeing the application of scientific research methods and the solution of complex operational and force sufficiency problems across the full spectrum of Information Dominance warfighting functionality.
Maintains currency on Service force development policies, allocation rules, and force design structure, responsible for the appropriate assignment, allocation, and apportionment of force structure capabilities to meet Component tactical and operational tasks required to meet the campaign objectives of the planning scenario.
Provides technical expertise on topics related to operations research, computer science, systems analysis, model applications, and hardware and software support systems.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields: Engineering (Aeronautical,
Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), Physical Sciences, Computer Sciences, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics,
Political Science, Intelligence, Foreign/International Relations, or National Security.
Master’s degree in one of the fields listed above (desired).
A minimum of ten (10) years’ of demonstrated experience in systems analysis, modeling and simulation cost
estimating/analyses, and/or warfare analysis.
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience with campaign, mission and process models associated with C4ISR
systems and with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) 2.0.
Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance (required).
