The Manager I, Real Estate is responsible for independently performing functions that are generally outlined below with emphasis on management, development and redevelopment activities of assigned QEL’s real estate assets to uphold the mission of the Queen’s Health Systems (QHS) to provide in perpetuity quality health care services to improve the well-being of the people of Hawaii.
QEL’s assets total approximately 12,000 acres on the Islands of Hawaii and Oahu. The land assets include an array of zoning designations from agriculture to commercial, including 18.5 acres of prime property in the heart of Waikiki.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Essential: standing, sitting, walking, stooping/bending, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting, pushing/pulling and carrying usual weight of 1 to 5 pounds. Continuous: reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, frequent gripping of an object.
Frequent: kneeling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods. Operates computer; telephone.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education/Certification and Licensure:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, law, planning, engineering, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint), and other related software.
3. Hawaii Real Estate Salesperson’s license preferred.
1. Five to seven years of real estate property management experience in the State of Hawaii.
