3D Systems, a leading global provider of 3D printing solutions is seeking a western region Business Development Manager from the Investment Casting, Rapid Prototyping or the 3D Printing industries to spearhead new business development and drive strategic improvements in the company’s market position while achieving financial growth.
This positon will drive the long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience selling or managing projects in support of the Investment Casting, Rapid Prototyping or the 3D Printing industries.
--Evaluates appropriate information to forecast the return on future business transactions.
--Creates business strategies to facilitate company growth.
--Actively identify and generate prospects through strategic sales strategies focusing on customers in target markets.
--Maintain good working relationships with existing clients previously to enhance client retention and new sales through referrals and references.
--Identify and develop new and existing referral sources to develop successful referring relationships.
--Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.
--Works with other departments to ensure alignment of company goals, as set by senior management.
--Designs and determines terms of business agreements.
--Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
--Achieve revenue goals.
Education, Experience, and Training
--Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance or marketing or equivalent
--Demonstrated experience in managing and resolving complex issues
--5+ years’ experience in the investment casting, rapid prototyping or 3D printing industry
--Demonstrated record of developing and expanding new customer base preferred
--5+ years’ experience in sales preferred
