A Software Quality Analyst Sr. will leverage their information technology skills participating in and leading peer groups to create technical solutions meeting complex product and process challenges. A senior analyst can consistently perform job duties and contributes to all team discussions. In consultation with a mentor, the Senior Analyst can adapt existing processes to emerging circumstances. Expected to identify and decide between alternative solutions as part of a collaborative team.
A Senior Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the orderly transition of information technology assets from creation to stable operations. The team will coordinate changes to the production environment, ensure they are fit for use, and validate that the changes as a whole improve OneAmerica’s customer experience and IT operational profile.
• Identify milestones, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies for the planned release • In case of issues / risks, reach out to other stakeholders and escalate the same to ensure timely resolution • Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels • Provide necessary project oversight and guidance to ensure a successful release & deployment throughout the process; • Validate and test changes originating in the operations and support organizations • In case of post-production defects, provide guidance to the team to follow the already designed plan and process • Participate in planning for hardware and software, as well as storage of controlled software • Lead efforts to design and build automation in the areas of application deployment, configuration management, release operations, testing, etc.
• Drive best practices, standardize build, test, and deployment processes and tools across systems
• Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar area of study or college equivalent • 8+ years minimum business/IT experience required. Requirements ITIL certification preferred; else will be required to acquire within 12 months of hire.
