Specific responsibilities include: 

• Analyze the Pre-Owned monthly reports and perform monthly analyses of National, Regional and/or Retailer sales performance, and related inventories. 
• Prepare ongoing competitive analyses and comparisons of sales, marketing and competitor support measures. 
• Assist in the forecasting of sales, costs and marketing budgets for Pre-Owned. 
• Likewise, co-develop sales allowance program recommendations. Develop tools and measurements that will assess the effectiveness of programs. 
• Manage execution of Events, Marketing & Media plan engaging with agencies and business partners, while justifying ROI through performance reporting i.e. media performance metrics 
• Coordinate/manage Pre-Owned projects and represent department interests in outside projects that touch the area. Acquire the ability to navigate through the AS400 Sales System to obtain the necessary data needed to perform all job functions. Develop required system enhancements/reports to assist National and Regional Sales. 
• Support Retailers on a daily basis with systems, sales, marketing, customer and program type inquiries. 
• Assist National Sales where required in general functions, occasionally outside the scope of the Pre-Owned business. 
• Create Power-Point presentations for meetings and Retailer visits and present on those occasions. 
• Help organize/participate in national and regional meetings; some travel is involved. 
• Effectively become the “key account person” for a group of Retailers looking after all aspects of Pre-Owned ie. visiting Retailers to hold sales meetings and conduct training. 


CORE QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Degree in Business or related field 
• Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience 
• Strong automotive industry background required 
• French Language a definte asset 
• Refined analytical skills, with experience in market analysis 
• Project Management experience is an asset 
• Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills 
• Ability to multi-task and work independently 
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills 
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, work-intensive environment

Description

This position is responsible for supporting the National Manager, Pre-Owned and Corporate Fleet Sales and our Retailers to improve the operational effectiveness of BMW Group’s Pre-Owned Department.
