Job Responsibilities:

Duties include, but not limited to:

Applies subject matter expertise to various project / program initiatives. Investigates, analyzes, plans, evaluates, drafts and/or recommends solutions for project/program efforts.  Provides expert level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes.  Applies broad knowledge of organizational missions and programs, such as acquisition management and modernization planning.  Applies knowledge of and expertise with acquisition management, program management, budget/finance principles and methodologies, modernization planning, and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, & Execution (PPBE) process; applies knowledge of Air Force operational command and control doctrine.

  • Support HBBA Branch in business operations and program control including but not limited to reporting, suspense tracking, meeting logistics, and document quality control
  • Provide support to strategic planning initiatives including AOC capability roadmap planning, technology insertion into the AOC baseline, developing POM inputs, evaluating End-of-Life / End-of-Service mitigation options
  • Provide support to AOC enterprise integration initiatives including 3rd-party application fielding, AOC mission thread analysis, and tactical analysis of 3rd-party and prime contractor execution
  • Administer a variety of IT tools including but not limited to LCMP, SharePoint, and DI2E
  • Assist the government in tracking and completing suspenses
  • Provide acquisition documentation quality control in preparation for senior-level coordination
  • Develop and coordinate program correspondence, staff packages, and briefings as required
  • Assist the government in managing cost, schedule, and performance of HBBA programs
  • Possess ability to juggle a myriad of tasks, work independently, and handle stressful situations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 8years experience working DoD/AF program acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a leadership-type role, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to proactively engage with and advise government
  • APDP Level II certification in Program Management, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
  • Skill in interpreting and applying regulations, policy statements, and other guideline materials
  •

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree
  • APDP Level III certification in Program Management, or equivalent
  • Thorough knowledge of Air Operations Center functions
  • Experience in Battle Management, Command & Control, and/or Intel operational domains
  • Able to interpret DoD/AF acquisition and cybersecurity statutes and regulations
  • Skill in conducting data analysis and developing logical and documented recommendations
