Engineer / Anti-Tamper Analyst Job Description

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking an Engineer/Anti-Tamper Analyst to provide a wide spectrum of support to a DoD customer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical and management expertise for Anti-Tamper (AT) activities to ensure adherence to DoD and DoN requirements, standards and performance specifications
  • Provide technical analysis of AT capabilities and ensure AT measures mitigate identified risks to acceptable levels
  • Specific activities include identification of Critical Program Information (CPI), resident CPI, mission-critical functions/components, cybersecurity, program protection planning, and concept planning
  • Apply knowledge and experience in system engineering requirements, acquisition policies, and budgeting
  • Coordinate technical and contract requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, or physics; or possess equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of technical/management/development/integration experience with aircraft, weapons, and/or operations, with 2 of those years occurring within the last 5 years; appropriate educational background may be substituted for this experience
  • Knowledge of DoD systems engineering requirements, acquisition policies, and Planning Programming & Budgeting System (PPBS)
  • Knowledge and capability in planning. management, and budgeting; coordinating technical and contract requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience preparing project budgets and SOWs
  • Ability to perform technical analysis of anti-tamper capabilities
  • Knowledge and experience in detailed development of anti-tamper capabilities
  • Knowledge of developing DoD acquisition and technical documentation in support of anti-tamper efforts
