Clinical Informatics Project Manager
Serve as a clinical informatics project manager that works with clinicians, to extract requirements to maintain and enhance Navy Medicine Clinical Information Systems. Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in clinical processes, workflow, billing, and coding to engineer new processes, procedures, and update the Clinical Information Systems, as appropriate. Develop, implement, and maintain clinical informatics efforts, including process definition, documentation, standardization, metrics identification, metrics capture, and outcome analysis, in accordance with the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) set by the client.
-5 years of experience with working in the military healthcare environment and working with Essentris, AHLTA, and CHCS
-3 years of experience with project management, including in a clinical setting
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree in Clinical and 5 years of experience working in the healthcare environment or Registered Nurse in lieu of a degree
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
