As a reflection of current needs and planned growth we are excited to offer the opportunity to join a dedicated team as Director, Patient Finance.


This position will educate, provide support, guidance and oversight for all aspects of Patient Financing through onsite visits and assessment.  This position will partner with Field Operations, New Office Development, Learning & Development, Marketing, Accounting and other key internal partners to improve knowledge and execution of third party financing with the goal to improve access to care and the overall user / patient experience.



  • Acting as partner between Field Operations, Learning & Development and New Office Development to improve education and support to the field organization.  Position will ensure proper product knowledge, third party financing training and internal compliance support
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in third party lender protocol and consumer financing regulations
  • Train various Operations roles from Director to Office Manager on the consultation process
  • Will support New Office Development rollouts to ensure all staff is certified and trained on proper third party lender requirements and protocol
  • Must have ability to provide one on one coaching and counseling to ensure proper execution and transparency in all areas impacted by patient financing
  • Support third party financing from a process and systems perspective
  • Work with key departments to reduce refunds, chargebacks and overall satisfaction complaints
  • Interact with Senior Management team and provide constructive feedback to address areas of concern with well thought out solutions
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of impact Patient Financing has on office results
  • Deliver audit support for DVP / Director to mitigate risk, ensure office compliance and make recommendations for corrective action
  • Position will ultimately be responsible for hiring and developing a team of remote educators and trainers of patient financing
  • Travel on a regular basis and can live and work remotely, with periodic time spent at the Syracuse Headquarters

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Lending/financing job Related/Industry Experience: 5 years or more
  • Understanding and demonstrated abilities related to consultative sales practices
  • Working knowledge of healthcare and dental industry (preferred, but not required)
  • Experience with serving large multi-office & owner environment (preferred, but not required)
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Fluent in usage of online training tools and webinars
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others
