As a member of the MPS & Cloud Delivery team, you will perform the cross-functional role between the Enablement team and Service Management office to provide governance and lead the development and enhancement of business processes underpinning how TELUS does business. Working as the Service Now project manager you will collaborate with the respective business area and senior members of the team to help identify and drive strategic changes that will safeguard the value chain to deliver ServiceNow initiatives:

  • Project Charter, Project Plan and Resource planning
  • Process Documentation
  • Work with architects/project manager to create user stories/requirement gathering
  • Responsible for ServiceNow Release Management

These responsibilities will require you to maintain the technical roadmap to balance internal development strategies with supporting the needs of our internal and external customers.


  • Lead a scrum team using Agile and DevOps practices
  • Negotiate prioritization of work and delivery to meet committed timelines and releaseschedules
  • Provide management with updates on project status, key metrics, issues, and risks
  • Analyze, document and validate user stories and business requirements
  • Support and enable the project team in their effort to achieve the goals of the project
  • Implement detailed design specifications, test plans and both internal and end-user documentation
  • Adhere to development standards and ensure processes are maintained
  • Investigate issues and work with governance team to provide recommended solutions
  • Design and implement simple solutions in order to solve complex business needs
  • Provide business-consulting expertise in the formulation of complex solutions
  • Understand the economic implications of the opportunity to TELUS including performing the financial analysisassociated with the opportunity
  • Represent TELUS at industry forums and on technical committees including and/or representing TELUS at government and industry standards development bodies


Required Knowledge:

  • Experience in process development and implementation required, e.g. seasoned professional who has lead large scale process re-engineering or other strategic projects - advanced
  • Expert on process-related methodology - advanced
  • Proven track record on leading & delivering complex projects - advanced
  • Demonstrate very strong knowledge of business analytics and process methodology - advanced

  • Able to foster a collaborative environment across varying skill levels in a geographically diverse team
  • Ability to provide professional assessments and recommend solutions; make good decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment
  • Ability to disseminate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders

  • Trend, metric, KPI, and root cause analysis experience and skills
