Description of Duties: The Department of Medicine, Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo NY is recruiting Faculty Members with an interest in Thoracic and Head and Neck Medical Oncology to fill positons at Assistant, Associate or Professor levels. Assistant Professor candidates will be expected to demonstrate interest and capability in the management and clinical care of patients with thoracic/head and neck cancers. Associate and Full Professor candidates must also have recognized expertise in the clinical care of these patients. In addition, candidates with experience and a strong interest in clinical and translational research in aerodigestive cancers are preferred. Associate and Full Professor candidates must exhibit the potential to support existing clinical/translational research and provide leadership in the expansion of the thoracic/head and neck research program. The current translational program is multidisciplinary and involves research from several departments and core services. Research programs for eligible candidates will receive support from the Institute. Qualifications: All candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or eligible in Medical Oncology, be able to meet medical licensure requirements in New York State, and must have the willingness to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
