Team Lead Systems Engineer - Windows and Automation
CSC is looking for an enthusiastic leader to help grow, develop, and lead the Windows Systems Engineering team and join our Infrastructure Services organization. The Windows Systems Engineering team responsibilities include architecture and implementation of various applications, servers, environments & related services at our headquarters in Wilmington, DE. This role will be responsible for aligning, coordinating, and overseeing completion of projects and support initiatives in alignment with company goals and core values. Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to, developing team members to continuously increase their skillset, and contribute to a high functioning, healthy, and productive team .

Some of the things you will you be doing:
Guide a group of employees as they complete projects by developing timelines, directing priorities for the team, and delegating the project components to team members.
Ensuring that projects assigned to the team are completed successfully and on time.
Oversee the design, administration, and deployment of server hardware, Windows Operating Systems, back office services, and business critical applications as performed by members of the team.
Perform engineering, architecture, and Tier 3 level design and support for a wide array of enterprise technology solutions.
Assist the team by identifying and removing impediments.
Create and maintain standards that are in line with the business values of speed, stability, scalability, and security.
Ensure that audit controls are maintained and vulnerabilities are addressed based on necessary timelines.
Provide mentoring and coaching to team members and otherinfrastructure resources.
Set team goals and assist in the review process.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
5+ years of senior level experience in a Wintel support role within a global enterprise organization.
5+ years of senior level experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS.
3+ years of hands-on experience with VMware, Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp
3+ years of senior level experience with Windows Server 2008/2008R2/2012/2012R2, Windows Server Clustering
In-depth hands-on experience of Debian and RedHat based distributions (Ubuntu and CentOS)
Senior level experience supporting and engineering at least 3 of the following:
Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016, Proofpoint Protection gateway, mail archive solutions
Mobile Device Management solutions (XenMobile, AirWatch, MobileIron, Good)
Microsoft Lync 2013/Lync Online/Skype for Business
Microsoft Azure, O365 Products
Microsoft SQL 2012/2016 Clustering
Experience with integrating core infrastructure services related to company merger and acquisitions.
Advanced Powershell scripting skills.
Enterprise monitoring, performance monitoring/tuning, trend reporting.
The ability to constantly adapt to a fast paced, ever changing technologylandscape.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Experience in technical writing, specifically documenting technical configuration and troubleshooting information.
Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation which may include afterhours and weekend work.
The ability to lift and carry computer equipment (up to 50lbs).
