GCS, Inc. has an exciting opening for an Information Technology Analyst to support our client in Washington, DC!       Position Description:

  • Provide support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems and processes relating to financial and acquisition systems including:
  • Responsible for timely on-site customer support for users
  • Provide end user support and interface management for financial systems
  • Shall provide outstanding support for successful transaction processing
  • Perform query development and troubleshooting
  • Utilize IT background and experience to autonomously work for un-reviewed actions and decisions
  • Plan and perform analytical and engineering research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering and customer specifications
  • Coordinate the activities of technicians assigned to specific analytical projects
  • Work within a fast paced environment to provide Tier 2-3 Service Desk Support
  • Lead testing initiatives for releases and document processes as needed

     Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:   

  • Must possess a current TS/SCI (Polygraph desired)

  • At least 8-10 years of information technology background

  • Ability to provide Tier 2-3 Service Desk support

  • Experience with Junior to Mid-level PeopleSoft Functional Financials

  • Demonstrated experience shall reflect demonstrated expertise in industry technical issues and trends

  • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills, along with outstanding customer service skills

  • Experience in writing queries using GUI based systems

  • Demonstrated experience with FACTS or MPCC is a plus

  Education/Training Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

  • Should have knowledge of Federal acquisition processes

  • In depth knowledge in at least 3 of the following modules PO, AP, GL, KK, AR, BI, AM, PC, CA
