About The Opportunity

The project finance analyst is responsible for supporting all financial aspects of a multi-year strategic project which requires strong financial and accounting skills.  The role will be responsible for managing overall project budgets, cash-flow management, cost control, reporting and timing of actual spend, ensure accuracy of time charged to project, purchase requests, travel requests, and all third party vendor relations.

The role requires strong analysis, planning, management and delivery skills. The candidate should have proven experience of delivering significant change into processes, of user liaison and co-ordination across many stakeholders both with Finance and the business groups. A key component of the role is the ability to build strong working relationships with partners across the company and project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management finance activities from planning to execution and coordinate project related activities

  • Control the project scope, timeline, costs, quality, and risks and measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques

  •  Support the development of related project plans, schedules, lead preparation of budgets, resource plans and status reports, identification of risks, and contingency plans

  •  Lead capital structure analysis and scenario modeling, support capital request justifications and financial analysis

  •  Participate in Requirements gathering phase, ‘as is’ process gathering phase, project planning & preparation phase, and execution of “’to-be’ phase, ensure all relevant processes are captured during requirements analysis

  •  Actively participates in cross-functional groups to solve problems across projects

  •  Forecasting skill set and ability to analyze actual performance vs planned performance and provide key financial and project performance indicators such as CPI (Cost performance index)

  •  Ensure the critical business and technologyrisks/issues surrounding the financialreporting and accounting are identified, communicated and managed to closure

  •  Support rate development and rate updates for Government contracts

  •  Support business case analysis and what if scenario planning

  •  Hold business owners accountable for timely and quality execution of assigned tasks Work closely with all levels of leadership, managers, line managers, and customers

  •  Develop rate structures and support customer financialaudits and proposal activities

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar

  • 5+ of financial and accounting experience in a multinational organizations 

  • Experience of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR and DFAR)

  • U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements. Applicants selected will be subject to a government securityinvestigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to: criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.” This clearance must be maintained during employment. Preferred applicants who hold active DoD Secret Security clearance.

  • Advanced skills in MS Office, MS Project Experiencepreferred

  • Earned value management experience for a US Government contractpreferred

  •  Clearance required:  Secret or have the ability to obtain a Secret level clearance


  • Work is performed in a standard office environment with little or no exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, etc. Role will require visits to manufacturing facilities and construction sites.


  • Up to 50% Travel may be required.
