Real EstatePortfolioManager

The Portfolio Manager position responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Manage a portfolio which includes 22 locations totaling 2.5M square feet
  • Represent needs of internal business clients on facilities management issues 
  • Coordinate all associate services (food services, mail and print operations, meeting services, fitness, transportation, etc) for the Central Virginia Regional real estate portfolio
  • Manage the delivery of facilities services and processes that support the core business of Capital One 
  • Ensure that the organization has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities
  • Present business issues to Regional Lead to determine needs and convene appropriate resources and process needed to support business requirement 
  • Provide input to the Regional portfolio plan and strategy
  • Partner with various levels of management including business executives to understand and deliver service needs 
  • Work closely with peers in other regions and internal Workplace Solutions senior management 
  • Manage a diverse set of third party vendors to execute on key responsibilities, and coordinate with extended real estate team resources to support delivery of services and workplace solutions 
  • Partner with construction project managers to complete restacking, space planning and construction projects 
  • Manage to annual real estate operating budget to include building, services and support costs
  • Engage with cross-functional teams including close coordination with Security, IT, and HR on behalf of shared internal client 
  • Develop solutions and influence various levels of management on Workplace Solutions recommendations

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree,
  • At least 5 years experience in relationship management.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Real Estate, Engineering, Construction or other relevant discipline
  • 5 years experience in Supplier Management 
  • 5 years experience in Project Management 
  • 5 years experience in People Management 
  • 5 years experience in Facilities Management
