Aetna has an outstanding opportunity for an individual who is passionate about Technology, Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing. We are seeking an individual to become park of our Group Insurance Absence Management team as a Quality Assurance Analyst. In this role the selected candidate will work directly with our clients and IT teams to help maintain applications our clients use on a regular bases basis to manage and report out on Leave of Absence, Disability, Safety and Medical case management in adherence to the Aetna Project Life Cycle (APLC).
Act as Aetna Test Lead for facilitating WorkAbility Self Administration release changes, including test plan and execution management. Develops appropriate communications for release management expectations that include test project plan, resources. Consistently performs analysis and translates Business Requirements and Functional Specifications into applicable Functional and User Acceptance test plans. Coordinates Functional and User Acceptance Testing by developing and executing the testing strategy/plan, scheduling resources and facilities and tracking test execution. Conducts impact analysis of technology changes on business processes and existing technology. Coordinates weekend release activities that are in collaboration with the client
*1 -3 years experience with software project life cycles.
*1-3 years experience with automated test tools, modeling tools, test validation tools, change management tools and test case generation techniques required. User acceptance testing (UAT) or Quality Assurance Testing (QA Testing)
*Demonstrated ability to multi-task and support multiple projects, releases simultaneously.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
*Agile Methodology experience preferred.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Functional - Quality Assurance/Quality Assurance Certified Tester/1-3 Years.
