The Senior Director of Finance reports to the Operations leader of the business as well as the Senior Vice President of Finance for the GS US segment. The position has responsibility for providing strategic financial leadership to the organization. The successful candidate will be able to proactively assess programmatic and financialrisk, develop alternatives, and implement recommendations to ensure the business meets all financial commitments.

The position will provide both strategic financial leadership and direction, and will be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the finance function.

Core responsibilities include development of the annual operating plan, program accounting and control, business forecasting and variance analysis relative to financial targets for orders, sales, EBITDA (operating income), bookings, backlog and cash flow.

Major responsibilities will include:

•Provide financial oversight and support to operations and new business initiatives

•Advise the leadership team on long-range financial strategies.

•Guide all business unit level financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

•Support the preparation of annual budgets, projections, and tracking of forecast vs. actual, including variance analysis

•Perform and/or oversee a wide variety of high level and complex financial and business analyses, such as direct and indirect modeling and utilization analysis, and program, and business unit level performance analysis

•Actively engage as a business partner with operations and functional leads to review progress against financial goals, assess budget realism, and otherinternal operational matters.


To qualify, candidates must have:

•B.A. or B.S. degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting required.


years of financialexperience, 5 years of supervisory experience, with at least 10 years of experience within the government contracting

arena, preferably in a services environment.

•Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively communicate and delegate.

•Knowledge of federal government contracting.

•Demonstrated decision making and influencing skills, excellent written and oral communication skills.

•Experience with CostPoint and Deltek financial systems.

•Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders.

•Entrepreneurial approach commensurate with the business’ growth strategies.

To qualify, candidates should have:

•M.B.A. or C.P.A. or comparable graduate degree strongly preferred.
