An Application Engineer II's role is to position to design, develop, maintain and test software for the Concuity team, collaborating with internal departments and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in a dynamic Agile environment. Ability to achieve subject matter expertise quickly on new applications is needed. Requires proven track record in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Java scripting, Tomcat, performance tuning, batch and real time processing in Linux environments. Experience with Oracle is preferred. Knowledge of software industry best practices and design patterns is desired.
Analyze, design, code, test, debug and document application changes and enhancements as well as support activities for the Concuity system. Work closely with internal staff as well as business partners to define and refine application requirements. Utilize knowledge and best practices of development tools and languages to implement business solutions for incidents, defects and enhancements. Assist in mentoring and coaching of other team members. Other duties as assigned. #INDDM
