Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Boston, MA. Design custom technical solutions to support the Firm’s securities lending business. Architect and develop technical solutions to business problems by analyzing, building, and managing requirements. Create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining components and interfacing across many different technology stacks. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external users, including the Firm’s traders, operations teams, external service providers, and client technology teams. Independently integrate applications by designing databasearchitecture and server scripting; study and establish connectivity with other upstream and downstream systems. Develop custom applications across business units by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. Weekly change management coordinator responsible for reviewing, approving, releasing applications and solutions to production. Provide technical support duties on a rotational basis.


Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: FIS Global One software; EquiLend trade services & supporting protocols; SWIFT standards; object-oriented design & implementation; Java Enterprise Edition development; Swing front end development; Visual Basic for Applications; Sybase database design & optimization, SQL queries & stored procedures; service oriented technologies such as web, RESTful , messaging services; at least one of the following scriptinglanguages: Perl, Shell, or ksh; all phases of the software development life cycle including, gathering requirements, functional specifications, planning, design, implementation & testing.
