Lakes Regional Healthcare is a growing and dynamic healthcare facility located in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The hospital provides inpatient services that include acute & critical care, obstetrics care, outpatient surgery services, imaging/radiology services, emergency & laboratory services, visiting physician clinics and primary care clinics. The hospital is located in the heart of the Iowa Great Lakes.
Registered Nurse who is responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, patient-family centered care through the continuum of perioperative care to include: outpatient surgery unit, perioperative unit, operating room, post-anesthesia care, sterile processing department, and anesthesia services. Leads and manages staff to include scheduling, orientation, educational requirements/needs, staff recruitment, departmental meetings and performance management. Maintains equipment, daily operational supplies and appropriate inventory levels required for the Surgical Services Department. Develops and maintains professional working relationships with Medical Staff to ensure needs are being met and patients are receiving the highest quality service possible. Work in a new and progressive OR environment with highly qualified staff and physicians committed to providing the highest quality care to patients and families using the latest technology.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Iowa RN license, BSN preferred. Five years nursing experience with 3 years of experience in the OR preferred. Two years nursing shift supervision, experience in nursing management preferred.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS
Current RN license. Certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and the Mandatory Reporting of Adult/Child Abuse or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
