The Project Manager/Analyst - Scottsdale Health Partners (SHP) is responsible for leading a variety of information technology and operational projects in support of SHP objectives and goals. The incumbent participates with the CIO, Enterprise Architect and other SHP Executives and team members to plan and manage multiple simultaneous IT and operational projects. He or she will ensure that the business requirements are clearly identified and documented, and solutions are recommended and implemented in accordance with SHP's established enterprise priorities.
The Project Manager/Analyst is responsible for managing project teams ranging in size from 2 to 10 resources to develop and implement technology solutions. The functions performed include developing project plans; execution and control of the projects throughout its life cycle; managing and controlling changes, identify and manage risks, facilitating the capture of, and documenting business and technical requirements; training and development of project personnel; coordination of stakeholders participation and training of end-users; supervising consultants and vendors assigned to projects. He/she is responsible for providing the SHP Program Management Office (PMO), project Sponsors and Executives with regular updates on project status and information for decision making.
The Project Manager/Analyst coordinates with the SHP PMO on cross-organization projects; advises the SHP PMO on the latest developments in project management methodologies, software engineering methodologies; keeps related enterprise policies, procedures and standards up-to-date; leads process redesign to improve organizational efficiency; advises SHP practices and business partners on the use of technology.
He or she will work independently in support of specific business initiatives, as well as on teams of various sizes and makeup that may involve peers, managers, vendors, customers, consultants. He or she will work exclusively on Scottsdale Health Partners projects and initiatives.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or related field.
EXPERIENCE: 3 years of Project Management experience OR 3 years of Business Analysis and/or Data Analysis experience AND 1 year of Project Management experience.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Proficient user of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio.
Experience participating in quality assurance/testing activities
