The Clinical Risk & Patient Safety Manager reports to the Chief Medical Officer with a dotted line to the Corporate VP of Patient Safety, Risk & Insurance and provides administrative leadership, direction, and supervision in the integration of the overall Risk and Patient Safety program for the medical group. Responsible for development of annual site specific Patient Safety Plan. Coordinates patient safety improvement programs that reduce the risk of injury and promote reporting of incidents. Develop and deliver education programs based on incident reporting data. Administers the Safety First Program for including the performance of investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum five years of healthcareexperience preferably in risk and patient safety management
- Certified Professional in HealthcareRisk Management (CPHRM) or other Patient Safety training/certification desired (CPPS, IHI Executive Development)
- Bachelor's Degree in clinical field.
